This Privacy Policy explains what information iPredikt ("iPredikt") collects, how we use and share it, and the choices you have. This page is maintained by iPredikt to answer common privacy questions about the Service. It is not a certification or independent verification.
Short version: we collect the information needed to run accounts, markets, wallets, payments, verification, security, support, personalization, AI-assisted features, analytics, and notifications. We do not sell personal information. Some features depend on third-party providers such as hosting, payment, verification, email, analytics, and AI services.
1. Information we collect
Account & profile: email address, username, avatar, and any profile details you provide, including your country and interests, which we use to personalize markets.
Activity: wallet balance, positions, predictions, transfers, watchlists, pinned markets, community predictions you create or join, comments, blog contributions, notification preferences, and admin feedback you submit. Public actions, such as leaderboards, public markets, comments, profile names, or shared predictions, may be visible to other users.
Payments & redemptions: top-ups, subscriptions, and withdrawals are processed by third-party providers such as PayPal, Coinbase, Circle where enabled, or replacement providers. We receive confirmation and limited transaction metadata but do not store full card or bank account numbers.
Verification: where required for redemptions, compliance, fraud prevention, or account safety, identity, age, address, or bank-verification information may be handled with our verification providers.
Device & usage: log data, device and browser information, IP address, approximate location, referral/source information, crash or error logs, and analytics about how you use the Service.
Communications: support emails, feedback, survey responses, admin messages, notification preferences, and records of service communications we send to you.
Generated and inferred data: AI summaries, market suggestions, risk signals, fraud signals, topic preferences, and engagement metrics derived from your use of the Service.
2. How we use information
We use your information to operate and secure the Service, authenticate your account, maintain your wallet, positions, and history, process payments and redemptions, run identity and fraud checks, personalize markets to your country and interests, resolve markets, provide support, send service communications, and improve and promote the product.
We may also use information to detect abuse, enforce limits, investigate disputes, comply with legal duties, debug the app, measure blog/search performance, improve onboarding, and generate or schedule product communications such as daily briefings or social posts.
3. Lawful bases
Where applicable law requires a legal basis, we rely on: performance of our contract with you (operating the Service), our legitimate interests (security, fraud prevention, product improvement), compliance with legal obligations (verification, financial record-keeping), and your consent where required (for example, certain analytics, marketing, or push notifications).
4. AI processing
We use AI to generate and categorize markets, enhance descriptions, assist content creation, produce daily briefings, triage feedback, and support market resolution. Market content, public activity, feedback, and resolution data may be processed by our AI providers for these purposes. We do not use your private wallet credentials for AI processing.
We also operate automated synthetic "AI member" accounts and AI counterparties that participate in markets. These are not real people and do not represent other users' personal data.
Avoid entering sensitive personal information into market titles, comments, feedback, or AI-assisted fields unless the feature specifically asks for it. We may remove or redact user content that exposes private information or creates safety, legal, or compliance risk.
5. Notifications (push & email)
With your permission, we send in-app, web push, and email notifications — for example, market resolutions, price and topic alerts, rewards, daily briefings, and operational or account messages. To deliver web push, we store the push subscription details your browser provides (endpoint and keys). Email notifications are sent through our email provider.
You control what you receive and how in your notification settings, and can turn categories or channels off at any time or unsubscribe from marketing emails. We may still send essential service and security messages that are necessary to operate your account.
6. Authentication and sign-in
You can sign in with email or with supported social providers such as Google or Apple where configured. When you use a social provider, we receive basic profile information needed to create and secure your account.
7. How we share information
We share information with service providers ("subprocessors") who process it on our behalf, including our cloud/backend host, database provider, payment processors, identity and verification providers, email and notification providers, AI providers, analytics tools, error-monitoring tools, and support vendors. We may also share information to comply with law, enforce our Terms, prevent fraud or harm, or in connection with a corporate transaction. Some information you choose to make public is visible to others.
We do not sell personal information. If applicable law treats certain analytics or advertising technology as "sharing" for targeted advertising, you may contact us to opt out or use the controls made available in the app or your browser.
8. International transfers
Your information may be processed in countries other than your own. Where we transfer personal data internationally, we use appropriate safeguards as required by applicable law.
9. Data storage and security
Your data is stored on our managed cloud backend with access controls and row-level security so that you can only access your own records. While we take reasonable measures to protect your data, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
You are responsible for protecting your own login credentials and device. Tell us promptly at support@ipredikt.app if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.
10. Cookies and local storage
We use cookies and browser local storage to keep you signed in, remember preferences, measure usage, and protect the Service. See our Cookie & Local Storage Policy for details and how to control them.
11. Data retention and deletion
We retain your information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service. We may retain certain records longer where required for legal, tax, accounting, financial record-keeping, fraud-prevention, security, or dispute-resolution purposes.
Examples of records we may need to keep include wallet ledger entries, payment and subscription records, verification status, market settlement history, fraud-prevention records, tax/accounting records, dispute logs, and security audit records. You can request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us, and we will remove it except where retention is required or permitted.
12. Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, port, or restrict the processing of your personal information, or to object to certain processing or withdraw consent. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details below. You may also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.
We may need to verify your identity before completing a privacy request. Some rights are limited where information must be retained for security, legal, accounting, fraud prevention, dispute, or compliance reasons.
13. Region-specific notices
If you are in a region with additional privacy rights, such as the EEA, UK, Switzerland, California, or another US state with consumer privacy laws, you may have extra rights including rights to know, access, correct, delete, port, opt out of certain processing, or appeal a decision. Contact us to exercise those rights.
We do not knowingly sell personal information or knowingly process personal information of users under 18. We also do not intentionally use sensitive personal information to infer characteristics beyond what is needed for verification, fraud prevention, compliance, security, and operation of the Service.
14. Children's privacy
iPredikt is intended for users aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a minor has provided information to us, contact us and we will review the account.
15. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will revise the "last updated" date above when we do.
